Mizuno has finally released theMizuno MP 59 Irons and Mizuno MP 69 Irons, its new irons for the winter golf shop purchasing cycle. They look awesome.

"The MP-59′s are ground breaking in concept and design, with a look, feel, and play unlike any forged iron Mizuno has delivered to date." Twelve grams of titanium material are forged into the muscle of the MP-59 for a 5% larger sweet spot compared to the MP-58. MP-59s are a traditional MP sized head shape for the workability required by better players.

the Mizuno MP-59 Iron features a lightweight Titanium insert forged directly into the back of the clubhead. The thicker Ti Muscle material behind impact ensures that the centre of gravity is located closer to the clubface, which allows better players the ability to work shots whilst still offering the forgiveness of the cavity-back design. The Mizuno MP-59 is an evolution of the succesful MP-58 model.


With the Ti weight added to the MP-59, off-center strikes will benefit from even greater stability. The appearance of the MP-59s is also improved by reducing the offset as a result of this improved stability. Thanks to the help of Mizuno's Tour Staff, the MP-59 irons now features a thinner top-line, a weightier sole and a new sole grind.


Mizuno golf announced the mizuno mp 69 to their already iconic muscleback lineup. Blending the input of Mizuno's PGA Tour staff members with state of the art design and simulation tools, the MP-69 irons are the perfect balance of patented Grain Flow Forged?feel, and unmatched workability.


The MP-69 irons are designed with precision craftsmanship to maintain the standards MP players have come to expect. Mizuno incorporates a newly developed 4D Muscle design to further optimize the set, resulting in a consistent sweet spot height throughout the line that creates predictable penetrating trajectory. This 4D Technology combined with Grain Flow Forging gives players shot and ball control, and ultimate feel. Utilizing Harmonic Impact Technology (H.I.T.), Mizuno scientifically tunes the sound of each club head to further enhance the feel.
